I think both work, but I suppose "close" depends on how physically close the characters end up getting to Marcus. Is somebody going to get up in her face at some point?

I agree that both work, but it does look like his head is touching the ceiling?

Maybe I'd like them both a tad closer so I can see more of the detail in the face, but then it's hard to tell without looking at it in the final resolution?

Rubus's head does seem to be touching the top of the screen, but I'm pretty sure that background is in the castle. The ceiling looks quite high . . .

Oops! You're right, top of the screen, not the ceiling. Serves me right for looking at this so late in the evening!

Rubus is the tallest character, so that's why he's brushing the top of the screen. I'll probably bump him down a few pixels so there's at least a little space between him and the top.

The characters' "realistic" heighting has some interesting consequences.

It looks like I'll have to make the heighting a little less "realistic" for the sake of sanity.

We're starting to work on the "sacrifice" endings for the characters. Kill all the boys!

You can literally kill off all the main characters and still beat the game if you're desperate enough. It's lonely being Queen.

Hell, you can kill all the boys and then not even take up your crown. Just TPK and go back to your farm. VARIETY!
