Synopsis: Richard gets lost in a small road in the woods. Searching for help he finds a small house, where lives Susan, a young, quiet lady. Soon he'll realize that something wrong happened in Susan's past, in that same house...

[ CHARACTERS ]

[ Richard ]
26 years old, single. Works as a freelance writer.


[ Susan ]
She lives in the house found by Richard. She's reserved on her past.


[ Marie ]
A friend of Susan. Her face is unknown at this point.

[ WHY I MADE THIS THREAD ]
I've been following NaNoRenO games since 2012. I've always been interested in making a visual novel because I love telling stories and the VN medium seems perfect for what I want to transmit. But I've never taken the leap of starting one because of many doubts I had about my skillset.

Then, about one year ago, I understood that no matter what my skill level is, doing nothing is always worse than actually making something. So I put myself out there and started making stuff, ranging from mediocre to really bad. I've partecipated in various game jams, and now I'm dedicating March to the NaNoRenO.

I hope to complete my visual novel in time and I want others to enjoy what I've created because I always put passion in what I make and I want others to feel it.

[1/3] Wrote the idea for the game, the theme and first part of the plot.
[2/3] Almost completed plot outline, completed concept art for characters. Created post on lemmasoft forums (yay)! Wrote first scene (about 750 words).
[3/3] Created logo (non definitive).

Project is currently on hiatus because of personal reasons.

I personally prefer having choices. Honestly I have no idea which would fit better ^^;. I don't know enough about the game :'D.

Didn't feel inspired at all today. So instead of writing like I should I worked on the logo



Still not definitive but I'm happy with it for now.

Another quesion on the same topic, if you don't mind... Imagine that the choices don't end up changing the story significantly apart from a few details (maybe getting a couple hidden scenes that help understand the story better). Would you dislike it and prefer there were no choices at all, or you would still like it more than having no choices at all?

Well as long as you make it clear that there is only one ending I think it's fine to have choices that change the situation. Being able to make choices would still add an extra little something in my opinion :3.

I love horror games, can't wait to see where yours goes! Susan's portrait is neat. (: I'd prefer choices/not a kinetic novel, but a kinetic novel may be quicker to do in the timeframe.

With horror tag I would like blood and gore woven in a good storyline.
