Sound issue in Ren'Py 6.17.3.327

#1 Post by DesertFox » Sun Apr 13, 2014 12:02 pm

I just updated to 6.17 from 6.16 and got an error regarding the following line:

Code: Select all

style.nav_button.sound = "hover.wav"

Code: Select all

While executing init code:
  File "game/screens.rpy", line 450, in script
  File "game/screens.rpy", line 458, in python
AttributeError: 'renpy.styleclass.Style' object has no attribute 'sound'
Also, imagemap buttons aren't playing their hover or click sounds:

Code: Select all

style.imagemap_button.hover_sound = "hover.wav"
style.imagemap_button.activate_sound = "click.wav"

Sound isn't an attribute. Use hover_sound or activate_sound.

I don't know what the problem with imagemap_button is - maybe use the style inspector to make sure you're setting the right style.

It must have overlooked it before for some reason.

Will do.
