When I click on the application I get :
'Could not execute C:\Users\XXX\Documents\renpy-6.17.6-sdk\lib\windows-i686\renpy.exe.
Is it missing?'
Both on the Renpy application itself and any game, I don't have a clue what the problem is.

Does that file exist? If you didn't unpack Ren'Py, it could be missing.

What happens when you double-click that file? How about the python file next to it?
Also, could you PM me the full path to the file, to make sure there aren't any special character (like : or ; ) in it?

If I click on the file or the python file its say:

I had this problem too on linux. renpy.py and renpy.exe didn't have the execute bit set and setting those bits solved the issue. I haven't tried it on windows, but it may be related.

Solved!
My computer restore itself to an earlier point and my Microsoft C++ 2008 got corrupted so the side-by-side no longer work properly.
I just had to download it again.
