Forum rules
Recruiting Rules: (1) Only recruit if you have an actual, clearly defined project you're recruiting for. Don't recruit if you're an organization that may have a project at some time in the future. (2) Tell people what kind of work you have for them. For commissions, also tell them how much work it will probably be. (3) Tell people how much work on your project is already complete. (4) Always open recruitment threads in the correct subforum - Free, Commercial or Paid Work.

Hey everyone, we are looking for someone to help us at our site, Joilly.com.
Joilly.com is a website to create and share online visual novels. We've recently developed a graphic interface for everyone to create their visual novels. Now we're hoping to find some people who can help us develop the back-end stuff on the site, like user messaging, user notifications, etc.

Regarding the user messaging, notifications, etc. is there any particular reason why you can't just use existing forum software?
I'm guessing from the phpBB bookmark in your first screenshot (in the other thread) that you've at least thought about it.

As a matter of fact we ARE using existing forum software, of which you can most likely guess, phpBB. Unfortunately even using an existing software such as phpBB, there are limitations or lack thereof pages which much be added in order to make the site fully functional, otherwise it'd be just another forum site.
We are looking for a person familiar with PHP, because our wizard programmer is spending most of his time developing the engine and the visual novel creator. Since his hands are full, we need someone to develop the site pages with us.
