Synopsis:
Samantha Perez has just finished closing up her cafe late on Christmas Eve when she hears one last knock on the door. But the guy she finds outside isn't another customer - he's a grad student who got stranded in the snow on his way home for the holidays. With the weather getting steadily worse, his chances of finding a tow truck are looking pretty slim. But will Sam give him the boot the first chance she gets, or will their unlikely meeting turn into something more?
A short, sweet visual novel to celebrate the holiday season. This is my first VN, and was made in about three weeks.

This was charming and very sweet, the characters made me smile and the reactions felt natural and easy to understand. Over all I absolutely loved it.

I played it and it was just soooo adorkable! And wow you're right, it's an uplifting, fluffy story that has to do with coffee. Hits all points for what I was hoping to get from my secret santa! It's really like I'd gotten an additional Christmas gift. Thanks so much! I really enjoyed this <333

Nice heartwarming story. Really... I especially like how Sam isn't your usual slim girl

Merry Christmas and hopefully you will deliver us more games like this one!

Really glad you liked it Angie! It's a personal goal for me to tell stories and make games that have more realistic, diverse characters, and I'm so glad that came through in this one! Of course, all art credit goes to Fungii's fantastic customizable sprites, but yeah - I plan for my future games to have diversity in terms of body types, race/ethnicity, sexuality/gender, physical abilities, etc. It's too easy to default to straight/slim/middle class/WASP characters, and there are so many interesting stories to be told outside that one dominant narrative.

This was adorable.
An excellent little self-contained story with interesting characters and a terrific writing style, I really enjoyed Sam's inner monologue at those awkwardness points. Quite the nice little Christmas gift if I do say so myself.
(production to begin in March)

Okay, I'm going to say right off the bat that I loved this and would like to see a lot more from you. I've been finding a lot of great games here recently (mainly ones with only one romance interest) and I've got to say, yours is one of them. It was cute, the choices felt natural, the MC was absolutely gorgeous (and had a lot of personality), and the style of writing was right up my alley. Keep up the great work, Shaples!

Hey! Thank you SO much! Your lovely comment really made my day ^_^ I actually have two longer projects in the pipeline (one of which I'm hoping to announce soon!) and I'm toying with the idea of trying to squeeze in something for NaNoReNo. So never fear - this won't be the last you hear of me
Also, if you like two-character VNs, I personally really loved
A2 if you haven't found and played it already.
Thanks again for your comment, and thanks for playing!
