looking for unique ways to tell "her" that i love her.

#1 Post by Der Tor » Thu Jan 17, 2008 1:44 pm

okay, i know this is a bit off-topic, but maybe some good ideas will come out of it. I am currently in love with a girl that does also live in Germany but she is still a couple of hundred miles away.

Now maybe some of you have some good ideas of unique ways in which i could tell her that i love her. You know i don't just wanna say "i love you" over the phone. Oh and of course unique ways to propose marriage are also good

Here's my suggestion:

You're in an OELVN creators' forum.
Do it with a VN. Put your message/proposal in a short visual novel especially made only for her. Send it to her in a specially packaged mini-cd along with some jewelry or even a ring. (unless she's technophobic.)

that's a great idea... except that i am not good enough at creating a VN. I tried it, but i soon realized that i propably will never finish my project... i just lack the talent :( and i would never present a crappy VN to her.

Erm... when you next fly over there, get her to fly back with you, then bribe some of the ground crew at your home airport, so as you get off get them to hold up a huge "I LOVE YOU" banner. Then tell her everything. DO IT!

If you don't have any plans live close to her in the next year or two, give up on her.
Long distance relationships are stressful.

Yeah don't do it over the phone. Things like that should be done in person =). Would you be able to visit her?

when she's at a grocery store or something, go to the cashier and tell her over the intercom thingy :P

you could also kiss her and run away XD (this works better when the girl does it to guys though, i think...could still get awkward though)
A little birdy in the sky
Dropped a poopie in my eye
I did not scream, I did not cry
But thanked the Lord that cows don't fly!

Music and dancing are my weaknesses! If a guy had music play spontaneously and asked me to dance, I'd just melt! Every girl's fantasy! ^^

Perhaps when she comes to you by train you could do it? And if no workers are around, ask two random people to hold up a banner for you.

now i just told her on the phone that i love her, and that i want to move to her. It's a bit plain, i know, but it worked just fine 8)

Because see... this thread made me think about it: if a girl where to reject me, just cause of the crappy way i am confessing to her, than she propably wouldn't be the right one anyway

i just wanted to tell you that we decided that we gonna marry :D

Oh and... she wrote some pretty cool fantasy stories... i might make them into a Visual Novel... well that is i would if i where any good at it :?

Anyone interested in helping me? She's wrote a lot of stories to pick from, and they all have a lot of elements that are perfect for ren'ai games (a lot of romance, supernormal abilities, magical girls, evil bloodsucking vilains etc.)
