The most important thing: make a backup of your pphbb2 database. This way, nothing can go wrong (or if it does, you can always roll back).

Hmm... not sure where to put this but I'm getting weird red underlines on most of my text ô_o.... Looks like a very bad grammar corrector ^^;

What about setting the spell checking to English?

It was painless~
but then again, I did a fresh install instead of an upgrade :p
I thought it was going to take all night, but it only took about 30 minutes.
I downloaded the zip file, unpacked it, and uploaded it to my webspace.
Changed a few permissions and then install.php helped with the rest~
Plus the folks at #phpbb were very helpful.
