Camera Anima was created by me to be a sort of portfolio game. It was intended to showcase both my abilities as a writer and a game developer. As such, this demo comes with two modes: story mode, which is about the world, the characters, and the context; exploration mode, which presents a puzzle and a level to explore.
The final result ended up becoming more of a demo of a concept of a point-and-click adventure game involving twin sisters, a serial killing automaton who takes people’s souls, and a child’s song:
"One, two, the bell tolls late
“Three, four, don’t forget your Face
"Five, six, don’t stay out late
"Seven, eight, don’t meet his face
"Nine, ten, never wake again”
This demo includes:
- A story and a exploration segment.
- Ten-to-fifteen minutes worth of gameplay, if both segments are completed.
- One bad ending
