Image Map Button not appearing correctly[SOLEVD]

#1 Post by Ashitaka93 » Tue May 26, 2015 11:59 pm

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie to this forum; and to Ren'Py as well. Basically, I'm having an issue with all of the buttons appearing on all menu's. This mainly effect's the Navigation image map. I had this also happen with the custom Options menu, but i was able to fix that by including the buttons on the Ground image; but didn't work with the Navigation image? It only affects the Save button when you go to the any of the menu's from the Main Menu without starting the game. I've attached a pic of what it's doing, and here's the code.

Code: Select all

    imagemap:

        ground "gui/nav_buttons_ground.png"
        idle "gui/nav_buttons_idle.png"
        hover "gui/nav_buttons_hover.png"
        selected_idle "gui/nav_buttons_selected.png"
        #selected_hover "gui/nav_buttons_selected.png"

        hotspot (1060,990,112,34) action Return()
        hotspot (1523,988,130,44) action ShowMenu("preferences")
        hotspot (1200,988,80,40) action ShowMenu("save")
        hotspot (1307,989,88,35) action ShowMenu("load")
        hotspot (1419,989,78,34) action ShowMenu("main_menu")
        hotspot (1681,989,81,43) action Help()
        hotspot (1788,988,77,43) action Quit()

Thanks for the help up front! I'm sure it's some stupid little mistake i made XD

My first suggestion would be to redo the coordinates for the save option. I encountered this kind of thing before when I was trying to do the coords by hand instead of using the coordinate picker (it was my first attempt and I didn't realize the picker was THERE).

If that doesn't help, maybe toss up your source in a zip if someone can't give you another solution?

I did try redoing the coordinates, and that didn't help. Also, I can't upload the source because this is a Commercial project, so that makes it just that much more troublesome. Thanks for the Advice ^^

Edit: I should be able to Upload the screens file without an issue. So here it is. Thanks for the help!!!

The image is blank because you haven't defined the "insensitive" property of the imagemap.
