Starting a developer blog for our live demo during our KS campaign.

Here is our first update. We created the rough sketches for the sprites for Nun and Rah.

we are relaunching our KS at a later date once we completely overhaul the art. It appears the old art was too distracting to our base for people to back our project. We are taking steps to ensure that doesnt happen again. Thank you for your support.

When I looked at the art for Black Sands, I thought "it's 2D drawings, which I usually like." I try to appreciate and look for unusual things. I admit that I sometimes ignore comics which have an aesthetic that seems angry, bleak, or emphasizing violence above everything. I probably miss a number of good stories because of this.

That said, make sure you're ready for your Kickstarter relaunch. If you have anything to mention, be sure to ask.

The new art for this is stunning and pulling it above the norm.
The concept seems very interesting (I like reading about Egyptian mythology and Nephilim mythology and it will be interesting to see how you combine them - something new I expect since the biblical mythology (which I'm familiar with) is coming from Sumarian(?) sources.

This looks like it'll be very interesting, looking forward to it. I remember when you first started posting. I know you're working real hard on you're novel. I'm gonna have to play through the demo sometime.

We are actually moving toward a more adventure play style in the game. The story stays the same but there is a shitload more risk management and lore.
