Summaries, how much information to add?

Hello everyone!

Currently i am working on my VN "The Purring Demon's Love". I have made a post about that project here.

I think you will notice right away that the characters are still missing/lacking information and that is my problem. I do have the charcaters ready, but i have no idea what i shall add to the informations/what is too much or too less. Same with the summary of the game.

So here my question:

Do you like to have some kind of background story for the character?
What would you like to know about a character?
Should there be added some kind of explanation to the summary/title explained? Or do you leave that up to the game?
Is the amouth of information right now making you curious or rather questioning what the game is about?

It may sound starnge, but its my first game and i would really appreticiate any kind of help on that topic, as i really cant feel myself into the role of someone which reads it for the first time and what that person would like to know!

I think it's best to keep things short and simple. Character name, personality, and initial role in the story is usually what people stick with since you should let the game be doing the story telling instead of trying to cram as much as possible into a forum post.
