Plot Synopsis:
Sara Crewe is the only child of a wealthy British officer posted to India, where she has lived since she was a baby. Her mother is dead, but her home was warm and loving and well-off. She was always happy. However, it is traditional for young British children born in India to be shipped back to England for their health and their educations, as soon as they are old enough to make the voyage.
Alone at her new boarding school, Sara is a very long way away from her home and everything she was familiar with. Her father's money pays for the best care: she has a wardrobe fit for a queen, a beautiful doll, and a personal maid to watch over her. Sara's a clever student, and she works hard to practice her skills and build up her relationships with her new classmates.
But if something happens to her father... How will Sara cope if she truly is all alone?

This is the second entry in our Hanabira line, games whose stories are not originally written by me. In this case, it's sort of half-and-half. This is an adaptation of a classic children's novel, A Little Princess, which has been previously turned into movies (you might have seen one from the 90s, or an older one with little Shirley Temple as Sara) and even an anime. If not, don't worry, because many things will be changed anyway! Among other things, yes, this is a GxG version. There are six different character routes, some of which are clearly platonic, some clearly romantic, and some in the subtexty middle.
This is a stat-raising sim, with a slightly different approach. Every week, you will choose activities for Sara to build up her resources, and then at the end of the week you spend those resources to unlock scenes with other characters. This gives constant interaction between the stats and the story, with frequent reachable targets instead of only some huge goal in the distance.
The project is currently in beta-testing. Details available on my forums.
