Because many assets were done out of order (my fault), the demo took much longer than it should have.
On the bright side, it means the rest of the game isn't far behind

Information about Sickness itself, including credits, character bios, etc. can be found in its WIP thread: http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewto ... 43&t=35280
This demo covers the first 5 chapters. The length is 26.5k words.
The main game will initially be ~120k words. (Extra routes added later bringing it to at least 160k words)
Please note that Sickness is a bit slow to progress (in my opinion).
Chapter 7 is when decisions start having an impact, and chapter 9 is when the last main character starts making regular appearances. It's also around then that the romantic element comes into play.
So I'm not sure how interesting people will find a demo covering only the first 5 chapters, which focus on building the story and exploring character personalities.
Do let me know if you agree/disagree with that sentiment. I might just be getting cynical after going through those 5 chapters so many times
Pertinent info:
-This game is 1920x1080
-Sickness contains themes of mental health, physical violence, and death. It's mostly in the later stages of the game, but still, you've been warned.
-Some assets (particularly music) are non-final and will change before release
I haven't decided whether to release on Android or not. It might be that my devices aren't up to the job, but running a 1080p game with good quality assets causes notable lag for me.
It's better since I reworked the GUI, and it now runs okay on my tablet (2013 model), but not on my phone (2014 model).
If nothing else, I may have it scaled down to 1280x720 for Android, which would be a shame, but better than having the game lag.
