Hey! We’re Ink Street, a two-person collaboration working on our very first visual novel. We’re planning to have this one out in a couple of months!
Synopsis:
Heng Jun is having a twenty-year old midlife crisis. We join him as he starts the first day of a new venture: taking over the family business. Instead, he finds himself broken down on the side of the road. While trying to fix his rental truck, he finds himself fielding his mother’s phone calls and wrestling with the realization that his life after this point might no longer be his own.
Characters
Heng Jun
The unfortunate protagonist. A mild-mannered high school graduate in danger of spending the rest of his life running his mother’s pottery business. Is secretly dating Li.
Qiao Li
Jun’s first and only rebellion. Currently in the middle of studying for his college exams, which everyone expects him to ace. But he’ll always have time for Jun.
Katherine “Kat” Qiao
Li’s cousin from abroad. Also the alleged bane of Li’s existence.
Looks nice, simple but meaningful premise, and sounds like an interesting story will commence soon. As for the art, it's distinctive but still nice to look at! The anatomy and shading is realistic but doesn't give off heavy vibes, and the choice of colors are earthly and grounded. Love them. <3
