Oh yeah. I wanted to share this too.

Zombie: Mm. Smells like fruits. May I take a bite?
Akane: Save me, somebody!

This is a sketch of an event that'll happen in my game somewhere.
I suck at drawing zombies by the way.

I wouldn't worry too much about the zombies, honestly...I mean, you ask 10 people what a zombie looks like, you'll probably get 10 difference ideas about what a zombie looks like :)

@musical74: True, but the way I draw them is not even scary. Even Barney is more scary.

I composed something new. I thought about using it for a 2D fighting game I might get into later. http://www.esnips.com/doc/824c3dc2-4716 ... ce-Station

KHmm.. decayed flesh, maybe a bone or two peeking out, ripped clothes, optionally add bugs and other nasty stuff?

Your zombie sounds very polite though. :p

No, he's nasty. This is just a sketch. All that other good stuff will be added when it's colored.

I just remembered that I haven't CG'd my art in ages. I'll upload some soon.

CG warm up. I'm actually....not so proud of this one. The hair is a bit messy and I think I didn't add enough shade..(hint: look at the gray line on her hat).

Note: This is NOT my lineart. This is kaze-hime's (I'm allowed to color it).

Another CG practice. Once again, not my lineart. It's ~Derrasanc's.

Your colour choices are pretty nice on these.

The one thing I'd point out to be careful of is to check where the light's coming from and make sure your shadows are consistent. It probably seems a bit picky, but it's important to pay attention to these things, 'cause once you notice problems with shadows they can hurt the whole image. With the orange-jacketed witch, they're all pretty good; the shadows are on the right of the figure, suggesting a single light source to the left. But with this more-recent one, the shadows seem a little more confused.

The ones on her shoulders, being above the shoulders, suggest that the light is in front of her and down a little - similarly with the shadows on her left arm. The shadows on the orange ball-thing are suggesting a light-source above and [our] left of it, so the light source appears to be in her lap. But the shadows on her legs suggests a light source almost directly in front of her (say, off to the left of the camera); the shadows cast on the underside of her thighs must come from the calves/shins in front of them. This doesn't agree with the shadow on the ball, and would mean there should be some shadow cast over her chest from her legs being in the way, which isn't there. And the shadows on her hair (hair is difficult, I have lots of trouble with that ;-)) and on the white thing she's sitting on suggest a light above her and to her right, which clashes quite badly with the shading on her shoulders and legs respectively.

@Blue123: :mrgreen: Thanks.

@Jake: Thanks for pointing out the mistakes I made. I'll pay more attention to the light source next time. I still need practice with it.

Two more CGs done. I think I did better with the light source.
