[April Fools] Welcoming our newest Administrator.

A discussion thread to go along with the announcement that The Current User is our newest admin. (See the announcement
here.)
EDIT: For the record, the next post was our 2016 april fools' joke. The The Current User text was replaced by the forum software with the name of the logged in user, using a software hack.

I'd like to be the first one to welcome the newest administrator of our forums - The Current User!
Although they haven't been around as long as some of us old-timers, The Current User has been a valued member of our forum for quite some time now. Not just a member, but a valued member - impressing us with their history of diligent contributions. That's why I'm happy to flip the bit that makes them our latest administrator.
I hope that, along with the rest of the admin team, everyone can join me in giving The Current User a warm welcome. (But since comments on global announcements don't work all that well, let's do it
here.)
