Ah, it's no problem! I love your ideas, they're so unique, and your GUI and is lovely as well. I hope you get some well-deserved sleep! This game is awesome, no need to be so harsh on yourself. The writing is wonderful, I'm quite surprised it only took such a short time. It's very well written and made me laugh a whole bunch and I'll definitely be showing it to my friends ^^. If you're going to participate once again in NaNo next year, I'll definitely be there too :>

Oh my gosh, thank you so much! I'm super honored that you're willing to share it with your friends (I haven't even shared it with my friends to be honest ^_^; ). I'm definitely looking forward to NaNo again next year (though I expect that my academic workload will only become crazier). It's awesome to know that it was able to make you laugh <3

you better finish 1000th day so it can be one of the first GxG VNs I ever play no pressure or anything, just saying

You're right, I completely forgot to put in a "oh hey you're the circle maybe" moment for Ray (could've had Mia say something like "just don't lead me in circles" or something haha). I didn't like how I ended their "date" either, because I think I kind of ran out of ideas by that point? Circle's route is the most disorganized, but I kind of tried to make up for that for giving her more lines than either Tri or Square. If I ever go back to fix anything, I'll definitely do something about that.
Thank you so so much for your support, especially about the writing!-----

Ah, this was a fun VN - and I especially liked the art and the GUI. The GUI looks so, so nice - and it's really consistent with the theme, as well.
I especially liked how the textbox graph paper doesn't overlap with the graph paper BG, and it flows seamlessly together. Makes it look really smooth and pro.
Maybe that's an odd thing to pick out, though...
The screen where you choose what shape to date was done nicely, too. Using imagemaps is prettier than using text.
I feel like a lot of work went into making this look good - the way the shapes move around, all the different expressions with the CGs, some of the visual effects - and it really paid off!
I think my favourite scene
This was a really fun little VN, thank you for making it! I enjoyed it a lot! >w<

I think my favourite scene
is the one where square gets his fourth wall 'broken'. Not only is it a pun, but the way you drew his, uh, innards, leaking out made me snort... And the way he gets flatter and more squished at one side, haha XD;
The scene before it, with Mia contemplating life, the universe, and everything, where a BG of the universe appears gradually behind the graph paper, was also really well done. The visual effects in this VN just look so good!!! XD;
And, in terms of fav charas... I liked them all, but I think square might be my fav. His human counterpart is the cutest. And I like how 'I'll be square with you' ended up as 'I'll be frank with you' haha XD;
I thought I wouldn't like all the fourth-wall breaking humour, since I'm not a fan of it, but I think it actually turned out really well! Since it's a silly concept to begin with, the fourth-wall breaking doesn't feel out of place, and it happens consistently, so it sets a tone for the writing style. It was nice.The scene before it, with Mia contemplating life, the universe, and everything, where a BG of the universe appears gradually behind the graph paper, was also really well done. Oh gosh I completely missed your comment somehow... thank you so much for letting me know your thoughts, and so sorry I didn't reply sooner!
I'm really happy to hear that you liked the GUI and the other (minor) visual assets! This game was fairly simple to draw (given that the only sprites are geometric shapes), so I did spend most of my time fussing over ending CGs and other things. I actually made a completely new set of GUI a week or so into the month because the first set didn't look that good."must make nice visual assets!" was my excuse for not doing any writing ahaha

Also I'm glad that you enjoyed the fourth-wall-breaking humor. I definitely understand that not everyone likes it though I can't seem to stop myself from constantly pounding on the fourth wall anyway and I really appreciate that you gave it a chance
Thank you soooo much for your feedback!- warmsundae

I've been playing through, and got on the square route, and... is that an undertale reference I see?

Haha, glad you enjoyed the puns! I'm not planning to continue this visual novel, but I have many others in the works ^_^;OtomeNekos wrote:Lol So many puns! I love it. I wish it was more continued I want to seemore of triangle

Hey, I'm sorry that this is a really late feedback. ^^; RL kidnapped me and I got sick for awhile. Anyways, I played this like a few days after you released the game. But only got to type up a response today, although I did typed down a few notes as I played the game, I might mess up on some things? I can't remember everything in total clear details, nonetheless I will talk about what I got and what stood out to me. ^_^
Despite what you say about your writing, I don't think it was terrible and that if there was more time given to develop the game, it could be polish a bit more. Writing was actually pretty good. I could relate to Mia with how she acted and felt in math class. Lol. We have similar thoughts. I'm even terrible at naming... ^^; But well... I tolerate puns better than Mia. hahaha. There were a few minor writing errors but it wasn't bad for me. I enjoyed the puns and liked the cheesy humor:)
The first route I went on was Triangle.
I found it so cute that during Square's route,
The music seems to fit the laidback funny scene and the silliness of the game. I do like one particular music that sounded

This game has potential

The first route I went on was Triangle.
I admit that I felt bad for choosing Triangle when I realize that I was forcing him on the date. I was just so excited to play the game before I realize what was happening. ^^; But I'm glad Star said sorry. I admit at one point the back and forth dialogue between Star and Triangle began to make me sigh but I expected it, plus it was cute overall in the end. Also it conveyed very well how Star and Triangle felt. I liked the cuteness of Triangle changing colors, it was nice to see the visual for it.
I found it so cute that during Square's route,
he did a very Blook-like (Undertale) thing. I actually went "omg!" when it happened. ^^
I find it fits Circle so well to be a female for a couple of reasons. I also like that Star and Circle connected and got along very well. And that Star feel like she could relate to Circle. I do in a way like the bit of backstory to Circle too.
Maybe I'm overthinking it but personally, I feel Circle in a way is a pretty well written character. ^^ The music seems to fit the laidback funny scene and the silliness of the game. I do like one particular music that sounded
like a music box, the one used in your notes and Circle telling Star about her backstory.
I was pretty sad that there wasn't anymore hi-jinks and that it wasn't longer, especially since I think there was so many possibilities, but I understand how stressful it was for you to make this game plus time constraints.For a bit of random comments:

Yes, Mia, yes, I came back again despite playing all three routes, I came back for more puns. lol. (well, mostly to skip around and quickly refresh memory but puns are always welcome.^_^)
At one point pf the game, I wrote that it felt like playing the game was similar to rambling for fun with a friend. It was laidback, cute, kinda fun, and relatable for me. and it makes me think of an idea of why there was like a crossover between her daydream and reality, just for fun. ^^
Gotta go now but congrats for pushing on with your best effort and releasing the game! You should be very proud! ^_^- nickynoton

1. What are your general thoughts about the game?
I really liked it a lot. I'm glad I got to play it.
2. Did you find the game humorous? Did you enjoy the terrible puns?
The jokes were so good! Very clever. I was giggling the whole way through it.
3. Whose route did you play first?
I played the triangle first (lol not the instrument but that route
).
4. Anything else you would like to say?
I loved both triangle and square's routes. Their human counterparts were great too.
I'm a little sad that it was so short, I wished those punny jokes could go on forever but being being pressed for time does suck.
Good game! Hope to see more from you!
