Update on the full game; it's flowcharted out to the fifth mission.

Bliss Stage is going to be much LESS linear than most mission based RPG's; there's some sequence of events, but mostly just time-sensitive overall objectives.

Cool! I'm planning a tactical VN to go with the update to the TileEngine/UnitEngine, and nonlinearity is a significant part of my plans there. But even then, it's not as nonlinear as it could be. The storyline has two major branches with different missions down each half, and there are optional missions on at least one branch, and within at least a couple of missions there will be different ways to accomplish your objectives. But it's still got Mission 1-Mission 10 for each half, even if Mission 8 is optional.

So yay, go nonlinear gameplay hybrid VNs.

Re-writing is not fun, but it is needed.

Update: the re-writes of the prelude scenes continue, and I'm much happier with them, particularly because Sara is much less TEH MOEHZ and much more a blunt, pedantic and optimistic 14 year old who spent half her life in a world where There Are No Adults.

Priorities on art have been shuffled such that we'll have screenshots forthcoming. Maybe in a month? I am not going to tempt fate.

Meredith prelude "Meet, Not Cute" second draft completed.
Sara and Derek prelude "Picnic Interrupted" second draft completed.
Next will be "Love Is Our Weapon," the Anna Lin and Colonel prelude.
