Hey,

if you wish to recruit a team through these forums, you need to reveal a few details about your project. It's in our forum rules:
All threads in which someone is looking for people to join a team, from now on, are required to contain all of the following three pieces of information:

1) An overview of the project, or a link to an overview. Recruitment threads that are not created for a specific project but generally for a company or organization of sorts ("headhunting threads") will no longer be allowed in this forum.

2) A description of what sort of work needs to be done, for example "Need a character artist" or "Need a script writer". For commissions, we strongly suggest giving an estimate of how much of that work will be necessary. (Examples: "Four character sprites in 4-5 poses each" or "A dialogue script of approximately 60,000 words")

3) A description of what work has been completed on the project, if any.
Please add the necessary information.
Scriptwriter and producer of Metropolitan Blues
Creator of The Loyal Kinsman
Scriptwriter and director of Daemonophilia
Scriptwriter and director of The Dreaming
Scriptwriter of Zenith Chronicles
Scriptwriter and director of The Thirteenth Year
Scriptwriter and director of Romance is Dead
Scriptwriter and producer of Adrift

"I am aiming for at least 100,000 words+

On a title, it said hiring a writer.

I have some suspicious that your a bot, if so please fix it. And not to randomly put random quotes.

Um, yeah. I am totally a bot. Because bots get administrative rights on this forum, you know.

In any case, what we need from you is not a list of characters but rather an overview of the plot you have in mind. From what I can see, it seems to be some sort of romantic story in, judging from the pic you posted, a high school setting - but what is it about?

Judging by your rate, you are paying an insanely low amount if you expect something like 40-80k words per month. $50 is barely anything for it, it's more like a tip than an actual payment. No one in their right mind would take such a job, and it is also inhumanly fast for your typical writer.

You did mention Royalties but that tends to be in addition to whatever rate the writer charges as a bonus. If not then this should be in "commercial works seeking partners" as it is profit share and not paid work. Though I doubt that those would be able to make up for the low rate, as even if the royalties paid the same amount it would still be too low.

I would expect someone to be able to write maximum 10k words a week and pay them at least $200 a month for it, though the typical rate for writers generally starts at $400 for 40k words and can be $800 or more if they are a good writer.

If you dont have money you should try lowering the scope of your game because 150k is massively long anyway. If you made it 50k instead then it might be doable within your budget.

Hello,

Thank your for your comment

However, this is with Royalty (Revenue share) of pay from Kickstarter.

Which in your case, the payment is without Royalty. Just a freelance.

But I will keep your comment to my mind.

Thank you so much

Hello,

Is that so ?...

Then I will close this forum again for now, and open for freelancer only later on.

And I will post the forum on Commercial Project, when its need for revenue share.

Thanks

In that case you should ask for the thread to be moved to this section of the forums instead. It is where projects go that don't offer full payment upfront. That applies to your project because it is unknown whether or not the Kickstarter will succeed so payment isn't guaranteed. Paid Work is for 100% guaranteed payment upfront.

In any case you should still state just how much you will be paying from the Kickstarter. That should still be a definite amount of money, as any trustworthy Kickstarter will have a detailed budget planned out before the Kickstarter is launched.
