Synopsis
"I love you for who you are. I’ve loved you from the moment I met you."

Robin Hawkins is down on his luck. His relationship with his wife, Sally, is stagnating, and his daughter, Melody, no longer speaks to him.
Stuck in an unsatisfying and draining job, Robin's life is one long, monotonous slog...
Until he meets the mysterious girl of his dreams in the middle of the night, Bell.
However, there is far more to Bell than meets the eye - and Robin's 'dreams' are fast in danger of becoming 'nightmares'.

Characters

Robin
The main character and narrator. In his early 40s.
Had aspersions of being a pianist, but instead pursued a career as a music teacher for a more stable income.
He regrets this decision, and subconsciously finds himself blaming his family for it.

Bell

A mysterious young girl. Age unknown.
Claims to be a reincarnation of one of Robin's great aunt's cats...
But, to be honest, Robin doesn't understand the explanation.
Cheery and upbeat but has a definite cruel streak. Likes making people squirm.

It looks quite different from your usual girlymoe fare, but I trust it'll be well-written as usual. I love that the 'sexy catgirl' thing seems to be used as a horror element alongside the fanservice!

I don't know if my usual stuff is that girly, apart from Strawberry Vinegar...
But this has an adult male first person protag, so it should be pretty unusual for me.
I don't think I've released anything with a main character like this yet >_>

Your female characters are quite often drawn dreamy, and there is something ephmeraly 80's about them. They often wear more than one adorable, girly frilly outfit with plenty of poof. Even when you don't hire Sillyselly, your prose is still as flowery as the works of the 24-group. And the stories are often well-written emotional drama, which gives them an air of old girl's comics. Further, you actually write 'girly girls' well and make them relatable.

But back to topic.
Is the main character going to be quite masculine, then? You said in Empty Horizons that Lyon was an attempt and that you seldom wrote those kinds of characters, so I'm really curious. Plus the whole 'balanced out with a sexy catgirl from hell' kind of evokes that direction.

I mean, I guess the female characters have very cute and frilly outfits, but I don't know if the writing style is always that flowery >_>
But I like pretty similes etc... so you have a point.

The MC is this is not overtly 'masculine', he's just kind of blunt and jaded. There are still some pretty similes and stuff in here though, because I can't help myself.
I think the writing style is a little more focused and to-the-point, maybe.

Ooh. I'm super hyped for the release of this game! If the synopsis wasn't already intriguing enough-which it absolutely was-those screenshots sealed the deal for me. I know your writing to be of great quality as I've adored every game of yours that I've played, and the artwork is just superb. I can't wait! <3 Pardon my impatience.~

I hope it holds up!
Actually, I think the writing style and tone is pretty different from my other releases, and I'm very fond of it personally XD;

Can I just say that the main menu screen looks incredible? I think it's quite perfect, actually. Bell's dramatic pose completes the piece beautifully, by the way.~
