Update 1/14:

Major update time! Interactions and map moving are now working! Look at this beauty, all done in Ren'Py. Yes, Ren'Py.

Update 2/2:

Big update time! (okay, it's only really a big update because I kept delaying updating the thread...) The updates include music, sound effects, new quick menu, edited character art, and more. So, let's get started!

Update 2/13:

Happy (early) Valentine's Day!

This week we have new art to share with you guys- namely, the Valentine's art featuring Kotachi and Ophi~

And I'll throw this one in as well- it's a WIP of one of the CGs from the demo, where Kotachi meets the mysterious girl V.

Update 4/13:

Now that NaNo's over aside from a few tweaks I'll be focusing more heavily on Asterism and Paths Taken! So, here are some updates!

We have a new background, with the lineart + flats courtesy of Checkers! We're currently working on finishing more backgrounds- there'll be over 25 backgrounds in total in the full game!

Update 8/25:

Been working on the fight scenes in the pure visual novel mode! I've edited the first 2 on the first day and now I've (mostly?) completed the fight with Gem at the end of the demo.

Update 12/22:

Been a while since I updated here- but never fear, progress has been slowly made! We have even more chibis now of the cast by ElliCoffee which will be turned into keychains Eventually.





I also completely redid Cyrin's sprite and redesigned him somewhat to look more age-appropriate. (I swear he's supposed to be like 25!)

Update 1/2:

The visual novel demo is here!! Now everyone can play the demo and see a glimpse into the world of Asterism.

I just finished the demo, and it looks pretty good. The art is nice, the main characters are likeable, and plot certainly seems interesting.

I would say that one issue I have with it is the fact that the secondary characters (Levi, Ayane, and Dania) weren't ever really introduced; they just appeared without any real explanation. I assume they're already familiar with Kotachi and Ophi, due to their interactions, but it would be nice to have a little dialogue or descriptive text confirming this. (I would also like to see what other characters think of the boys' new foxy mentor, but nobody else seems to have noticed... )

Also, is he Levi or Leos? Because I was pretty sure his name was Levi, but the character descriptions in this thread call him Leos...

Anyway, good luck with the game!

I've had such issues as well, about the secondary characters (Levi, Ayane, and Dania). Anyway, it's a great thing that they trying to implement such astrology things, like zodiac signs. And well, talking of which, here is a free astrology site I found on the web, where author explains a lot of zodiac and astrology things in details, and what zodiac sign you should pay attention on...
