Animation secuence takes too much to load.

I have an animation sequence of 47 png images with transparency. And It takes like 4 seconds to load. Any ideas on how I can Improve this?

There is any other more efficient way to do that? like only loading the first image and tell the program that load the next 47 images? like loading and showing.

best I can think of is to cut down on the images like 5 per animations instead of 47 you properly already know about this but can make a new page like image.rpy and then in your_script.rpy and put this line in

How that would be? I create a new script and there I define the animations?
But How do I define that the main script take the animations from there?

I just did this, but how do I put the reference on my script.rpy to the new file where the animation is defined?

I did that, but nothing is reproduced on screen. No errors either.

By reference I mean that If I needed to put on the main script something for the program to look for the animation definition on the new file I created.

here try this code just replace images with your images don't add the location

and with transparency i have no clue how to put in i think it same way with dissolve by putting it beside the images i might be wrong

Ok, I discovered the problem, the first line needed to be indented, on the new file. The animation plays now. But there is still the problem with the speed. Is better than before I think, but not by a lot.

When I reduce the amount of frames by half and duplicate the frame rate the animation plays instantly

This was 4 seconds

Tks a lot for the help, I will try to change all my animations from 24 frames per second to 12, that seems to make a great diference.

With that many frames you should just make it a movie rather than trying to animate all of those frames in Renpy.
