Funding Thoughts

In attempts to get extra funding to help with games. Outside of larger sites like kickstarter, are there methods people have used to try and get a bit of extra funding?
Auctioning off aspects of game design or the like? (which is really a lot like kickstarter anyway but I was curious).

you should look at other VN's on kickstarters and patreon and see what they offer to people when they donate
some will offer
poster,hard copy's, t-shirts and extra ending of their games and more...
they also have them on patreon as well
promote them on facebook,tweeter and other social media sites too

That's sort of where I've ended up as well milktee.
