<s> I'm rather new to the Renpy scene and I didn't change a lot of the default codes for Renpy. I was done with a game, so I tried exporting it, and it was successful.
After that though when I checked the script of the game a bunch of new lines were added and when I ran the project the transitions were gone! The script still had the "with fade" and "with dissolve" lines but the game doesn't show those transitions when it is running. Help?

edit: the extra lines were on lines with "call" on them, was because of an option. I didn't notice this, lol </s>

edit: solved the problem. apparently I was just clicking too fast the transitions were skipped. I'm an idiot. Someone just delete this thread

When you say you tried exporting it, can you elaborate exactly what you did?

I clicked Build Distributions. PC and Macintosh were selected.
I just tried running other projects with renpy just to check whether the problem was on my renpy but apparently it's only on that project.

What are the new lines that were added? Do they have transition declarations in them? Do a search folder for "fade", "dissolve" etc to see if they've been redeclared to something different?

Hey, thanks for trying to help! I solved the problem after combing through my rpy files and testing the game again. Apparently I was just an idiot who clicked too fast which is why the transitions were skipped. Sorry for wasting your time.
