Proofreader: I have proofread entire novel scripts before so you can't go wrong here!
Please inquire for writing & translation samples, as this would assist me in choosing the best possible sample(s) for you. I am also open to doing free ad-hoc writing samples up to a maximum of 700 words. Any more than that will incur a small flat fee of 10 USD, up to 1.5k words.

These are my rates for
Writing: $0.3 per word
Proofreading: $45 an hour (about 5-6k words an hour if just pure proofreading)
Editing (two types):
-Comprehensive edit: $60 an hour (grammar, spellcheck, detailed commentary, reworking finer points, and tidying up plot holes)
-Regular edit: $45 an hour (grammar, spellcheck, summarised commentary, and rewording/rephrasing if needed)
I work on a per chapter basis for projects with more than 50k words, and on a project basis for those with less than 50k words. For the former, I prefer half upfront per chapter, and half after completion of a chapter. For the latter, I require a 30% upfront payment of the total fee, and remaining 70% upon completion.
You may ask for as many corrections as you like during the drafting phase (restructuring/partial rewriting up to 50% of the draft) for free, but after you have approved the drafts, you may only ask up to three (3) minor changes (minor characterization corrections/slight restructuring up to 500 words). Any additional changes will be billed a 25USD per change fee in the draft stage (eg. more 50% of the script has to be rewritten due to external errors), and 10USD per minor change past the three free changes. These will have to be paid upfront.
Ideabouncing
Price: $45 per hour (plot & characters)
Additional ideas: +25USD for up to 3 ideas in a single session, no more than 3
I will charge an upfront fee of 22.5 USD (30 mins of consultation time), and the rest will be calculated and billed after the session unless agreed upon first. If the planned session exceeds 3 hours, I will require the first 1.5 hours upfront (67.5 USD). Each session can last a maximum of 6 hours, though you are free to book multiple sessions. I will update you on my availability.
For payments, I prefer payment via TransferWise but other methods can be discussed.

Important Note (27th April 2021): I am no longer doing free projects as my time and health can only handle so much.
I may reach to individuals whose project(s) interest me (and I have time to spare), but this is of my own accord.
