[CLOSED] Looking for a Programmer for a 2-week Game Jam

#1 Post by cherrybloodknight » Sat Jun 27, 2020 4:08 pm

Hi all! I've entered into a 2-week game jam called Chatsubo Jam (itchio link). I've assembled a small team (a writer, a UI/graphic designer, a possible musician, and myself as an artist), and while I know the basics of Ren'Py, I'm far from proficient in it. I'd like to avoid doing both the art and programming by myself, if possible, so I'm looking for someone who is at least comfortable with the program. I'm willing to collaborate with you, or if you would rather do it completely by yourself, that's also fine. I can't pay, but hopefully it'll at least be a fun experience?
The game is a mystery VN inspired by games like 999, Danganronpa, or Your Turn To Die (in other words, strangers get kidnapped and wind up somewhere where the only way out is to solve puzzles). It'll probably be pretty short, given the time frame of the game jam. While I think implementation of simple puzzles would be cool, that would be entirely up to you, as the current idea is pretty flexible.

If interested, please send me a message on discord at CherryBloodKnight#6131 (You'll have to friend me first, sorry, but no hard feelings if you block me as soon as the jam is over lol)

Considering we only have 2 weeks, we'll need someone sooner rather than later, so please consider contacting me today if possible!
Thanks for reading :D

Edit: We've filled the position!
