Isekano is a mobile dating sim where you win over your heroine’s heart as you chat with her throughout the day and meet her in real world locations. Don’t be late!

There are two primary ways in which the story is advanced:
- Messenger chat: The player receives texts periodically from the heroines, which the players can respond to by making a choice. It is similar to Mystic Messenger in terms of the presentation (minimal narration).
- In-person meetup: The player may encounter the heroines on the streets, or the heroine may invite the player to meet up.
The task at hand
We are working towards a demo right now with an estimated word count between 5000 to 10000 words. Our timeline is somewhat flexible, but we aim to have the writing completed in 4 weeks.
We have an interesting cast of heroines who each have a general description and history so far! This is an opportunity for the writer to add their creativity to build upon the characters.
Who we are looking for
Our ideal writer will be both experienced and passionate about dialogue writing for visual novels or story-driven games:
- Able to express romance elements that resonate with a male audience
- Able to get players to fall in love with the heroines
- Writes succinct but engaging dialogue conversations
- Skilled at making readers want to find out more

We are a small indie team and have a limited budget at the moment, but are open to discuss monetary compensation that works with you.
Volunteers are also welcome, particularly for those looking to build up their portfolio and be credited within the game!
