A Match Between 2 Shark Vacuums: Shark NV370 vs. Shark NV360 Review

Shark vacuums have long established their positions as top-quality household appliances marketed at fairly affordable prices. Over the years, they have continuously been rolling out innovative models that can even go head to head with more expensive brands. In this article, we are going to compare two among the best from SharkNinja, Shark navigator lift away deluxe nv360 and Shark Navigator Lift-Away Professional NV370.

Design and Size

Taking in NV360 and NV370 for the first time, you will not find stark differences in their looks. Shark NV360 only comes in blue with grey accents, while NV370 can be spotted in white or silver.

Though these bagless vacuums almost have the same weight, Shark Navigator Lift-Away NV360 wins as the lighter one. Shark NV360 weighs merely 13 pounds, whereas its opponent weighs 13.7 pounds. At their modest weights, these two models both fall in the range of lightweight upright vacuums. It helps that their portability and maneuverability are boosted, so it is easy for users to lift and carry them around.

In addition, these vacuums share many of the same Shark’s signature functions, including Swivel Steering and Lift-Away:
  • Lift-Away technology allows users to remove the detached canister from the base unit and use it as a handheld cleaning device. It feels like you get 2 vacuums at the price of 1. This also improves the vacuums’ efficiency when you attempt to pick up dirt in difficult places like tight corners or small stair steps.
  • With the Swivel Steering feature, it is more than easy to maneuver your Shark vacuum around all the furniture just by guiding the machine’s head with the least effort possible.

Performance

Not only Shark NV360 and Shark NV370 have similar designs, but they also do not seem to differ much in respect to their performance levels. These models inherit Shark’s development of impeccable cyclonic systems. They have somewhat equally powerful suction power which never wavers regardless of however long you have been running your machine. While our real test result has shown that Shark NV370, with minor updates, tends to deliver a slightly stronger suction, Shark NV360 is still an adequate choice at a relatively lower price. Almost all Shark owners have reported being satisfied with the machines’ incredible ability to suck up even the tiniest specks of dust from the carpet.

Another good news for people with a weak tolerance threshold to contaminated air environments is that both Shark models are equipped with Anti-Allergen Complete Seal Technology and the HEPA filter that captures and completely seals 99.9% of dust inside.

Differences between NV360 and NV370
  • Brush roll: The major difference between the blue Shark vacuum and its opponent lies in their type of brush roll. NV360 uses a standard brush roll, albeit NV370 uses a premium one that steps up its game with the Gentle Deep Clean Technology for better protection of the cleaning surfaces.
  • Power cord length: NV370 has a longer power cord (30ft.) than NV360 (25ft.); thus it better serves people with limited access to power sockets.
  • Dust cup capacity: The NV370 can hold a larger amount of dust (2.2 quarts) than the NV360 (1.2 quarts).
  • Set of accessories: NV360 comes with a dusting brush, a pet hair brush, a crevice tool and an under-appliance wand. Meanwhile, NV370 has two 8” and 24” crevice tools, and a combined tool for cleaning bare floors and picking up pet hair.
In short, NV360 and NV370 are two comparable models that will likely meet your cleaning needs. At a more reasonable price, NV360 does have its edge over NV370 considering Shark’s uniform performance standard. If you are interested in the more budget-friendly option, we have a detailed Shark Navigator Lift Away Deluxe Nv360 upright vacuum review for you on our site.
