[CLOSED][PAID][Writer] Looking for VN Writer Slice-of-Life/Social-Sim Game

#1 Post by Mangoku418 » Tue Nov 10, 2020 12:38 pm

Hello, everyone!

My name is Mangoku, and I'm currently looking for a writer to help with my visual novel currently titled, "Project Kawasaki".
https://mangoku418.itch.io/project-kawasaki
https://twitter.com/kawasaki_vn

It's a slice-of-life/comedy/romance/social-simulation visual novel. The story is about a girl named Ayame Kawasaki, who returns to high school as a repeating second-year after one year following her mother's suicide; something that Ayame blames herself for. Players assume the role of Ayame as she starts anew, meeting new and old faces. The story puts an emphasis on building meaningful friendships, growing as a person, and reflecting on past mistakes. Much like games like Persona and Dandelion, the game features a linear storyline and a freestyle mode in which players can decide how to spend their day; Whether it's doing character side chapters or partaking in activities to build your personality.

The game is still in development, and assets currently used will be replaced with original content in the future.

I'm looking for a writer who has experience in writing in the visual novel style and can create deep and meaningful character-based narratives. Experience in writing romance and comedy is a huge plus! Though I already have an outline of the overall story established, I'd like to give the writer the opportunity to address any flaws and improve on them. This is a paid project, so rates will be based on negotiation.

If you are interested in joining my team, send an email at mangoku418@gmail.com, and share some writing samples! Or you can DM me on Twitter @kawasaki_vn. Thanks for your time!
