Right Swipes
Right Swipes is a puzzle/visual novel game developed by Vivid Games, inspired by titles such as Hunniepop or Kotodama. Set in a fictional dating-app, the game lets the player match with girls and engage in conversation with dialogue options and picture trade, paced by blast (match 3 variant) puzzle sequences.
SOL/romance, all datable characters are adult women (the protagonist is unspecified), the game features frequent fanservice but nothing R-18. We currently have 11 romanceable girls and are planning to add at least 14 more. Each route has 6 illustrations – and art is currently in production for up to the 15th girl. As it is a mobile game, development will be ongoing but we intend to launch worldwide in 2021. The game is already in a playable state, we just need content/refinement.
We are looking for someone to help us create the illustration briefs. This includes coming up with the poses of the girls, the settings, and providing enough references to guide the artists. You will get direct feedback and sometimes will need to change your briefs, but these will be your ideas which end up being drawn and added to the game. We have been doing this in-house up to now, but the amount of girls is too damn high for us to keep up.
The task does not involve dealing with artists, only creating the briefs that will serve as reference for illustrations. I don't know if there's a proper job name for this, but 'producer' seemed closest. We have been working with a few writers and artists we met here on lemmasoft and this has been going great so far, so I figured it would be the best place to ask for this kind of unusual work. :')
We’re offering to work on a commission basis, paying for each brief - which means you don’t have to commit long-term. With that said, we would much rather someone who will be able to work on several briefs as there will be a new one to work on every second week or so.
You do not need any prior experience making VNs – though it would certainly be appreciated. If you have played a ton of VNs and are a veteran when it comes to browsing boorus (whatever your purpose, I don't judge), you've got some decent qualifications already.
Rates are negotiable. We will ask you to do a test run creating briefs for 2 illustrations of the same character, just to check if we can work together efficiently.
