Victorian melodrama [NaNoRenO 2021]

Been interested in visual novels for a while, so I thought I'd better commit..
Was turning some ideas round in my head and I thought of adapting some cultural thing. As I'm English, I eventually settled on a Punch and Judy show; listing all the characters and items, it sounded like a Victorian melodrama, so that's what I decided to do. I thought maybe three different endings (keep it interesting but manageable), with half a dozen environments and a handful of characters. Haven't decided on engine or art style yet, but I thought I'd try for TragiComic as a genre.
Never done anything like this before, so hopefully I'll learn something along the way..
