xray glass to move with cursor?

Hi. I want to implement an xray minigame. The question is - is it possible in renpy?
I have managed to do it in other game engines. There are 2 layers of images. One is revealed only when a circle is over it (only the area under circle is revealed.) And the circle moves with cursor.
- layer 1: normal vision image - visible
- layer 2: same image, but the needed object is rendered/drawn as transparend so that contents are visible. This layer is hidden by default. And is highlighted only when circle shape is over it.
I used the light mechanic in other game engine.
So, can something like this be implemented in renpy?
