There should be an option to "exclude" specific files in Norton...

Question: Is norton flagging Ren'Py as containing a virus?

It does contain an executable... I don't know, how does a holy Hindi Banyan tree send its roots into the sky and still live on for thousands of years? Maybe it was through Internet wyrms.

Ergh, aren't there online antivirus scanning aggregators for these kind of mistaken situations?

I don't know with latest Norton (2010), but older Norton (2007) never scan Ren'Py as containing a virus.

I used to use Norton but had the same problem so i just switched into a different anti-virus system.

My brother couldn't use the game I told him to download at http://evc-cit.info/psych018/hypothesis ... -win32.zip; Norton didn't like it. He is using Norton 2010 Internet Security, v 17.5.0.127

The zip file was built on a Linux box, so I'm pretty sure there's no Windows virus introduced from the build machine.
