I made an older game a few months ago and I couldn't upload it here and ended up uploading it on itch.io because the game was to large to put on here.
What's the maximum size of a game that can be uploaded here and how can I try to meet that threshold? Also should I just not worry about the size and just upload it to itch again? Or post the game on reddit; in the renpy subreddit?
What's the maximum size of a game that you can share on the lemmasoft website?

Re: What's the maximum size of a game that you can share on the lemmasoft website?
LSF is meant to be a forum for conversation about issues and stuff. It's not a cloud storage.
The upload function is only meant for uploading small files relevant to the topic.
That means the size limit is in general (all kinds of files), not specific to a certain type like what you're saying.
When sharing large files its sensible to use a cloud storage (Google Drive, Mega Sync, etc.) then share the link. Platforms like what you said would also work.

They're probably referring to
https://games.renpy.org
As I understand it, this is deprecated. OP isn't encouraged to use it.
See viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6487&start=240#p495384 and the replies for some context
You might need a file sharing host (or you could host it yourself, Its fairly easy to do)
A lot of people use mega.nz or google drive, dropbox, etc
