Aeterna: Rubra Plena is a visual novel otome game about happy romance and dealing with depression, anxiety, and trauma. The game does not contain toxic relationship dynamics - all love interests will love you for who you are.
The game is set in the Astrals - the capital of Sectus, a dying land suffering from radioactive pollution - in the world of Thealia. It is a magicpunk themed universe, where electricity is created from a radioactive material found deep underground.
You play as a beautiful young noblewoman dealing with her current and past experiences while finding love.
Norelia (renamable) has been pushed into depression due to her past life. Once a social butterfly, she has lost the will to uphold her previous social life and distances herself from others, seeing them as faceless figures and dolls with strings attached.
That is, until she meets a special someone. She starts to feel emotions she forgot were possible to feel. But her life is about to be turned upside down once again as she is arrested for a crime she did not commit and plunged into the depths of the Astrals, where she now has to fend for herself in a place that despises her very being.

This time, I've once again rewritten the latter part of the game with new scenes and a game of dice!
Norelias sprite has been implemented into the game, and I think it makes such a huge difference to the mood!
The next update will contain NSFW content. These scenes will fade to black on this version, and the more explicit version will only be available on Patreon.
Demo v. 0.1.5 is out.
This is my biggest and just overall best update so far.
I've basically rewritten almost every scene to up the quality. I've added lots of animations to immerse you.
Lots of new backgrounds, new music, sound effects, and ambiance.
Animated logo, new intro scene, more scenes with Aleksander.
I even stuffed some extra lore in there for you to read.
Major changes have been made to the demo, including the alone route + a new route for Aleksander. It fully spans from the beginning to the end of the demo.
Once again, lots of new scenes, music, sounds, ambience and much more!
Next up is Koumo. His route is already fully written and will be coming soon!
It's time for a new update, as v. 0.1.8 is out! This one contains both Petronilla and Elis' routes!
