Hello, I've posed this question in a few places with the hope of finding an answer. I'd like to put Quick Time Events (QTEs) into my VN. Originally, I envisioned clicks, drags, and holds, but I've let that go in favor of something simpler: buttons on a grid.
I'd like to know if it's possible to create a mini-game that encourages the audience to tap buttons in a certain order to progress the story 21 separate times. I'm envisioning a 3x3 grid of nine buttons. Each one would be dormant and invisible unless it needed to be pressed. An added bonus would be if the press was timed, as in the audience would need to press the button in x amount of seconds.
Whack-a-mole, more or less.
Thank you.
Buttons on a 3x3 grid that only show when they need to be pressed.

Thank you for the link.Yes, you can implement a QTE mini-game with a 3x3 grid of buttons in your VN. It adds interactivity, but coding skills or a developer's help might be required.
