Renpy does not play mp4 format for animations :-(

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with the playback of my animations in Renpy.
At the moment I am using Renpy version: 7.5.1
I convert my animations to .ogv format. That works fine but the Quality is a little low.
I would like to convert my animations to mp4 ( because of the better quality ), but then my Renpy won't play them anymore.
When I update my Renpy nothing works anymore.

Could someone be so kind and help me ?

Some .mp4s are supported, but h264 isn't due to patent issues.

Consider using .webm, which is both high-quality and patent-free.
