Position: Project Manager

Location:
Remote, with potential relocation to Tokyo based on performance and project needs.

Contract Type:
Project-based contract with renewal contingent on project success and individual performance.

Salary:
Negotiable, based on experience and project scope.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct comprehensive project management for visual novel projects from inception to completion.
  • Lead and empower a multidisciplinary team, maintaining a collaborative and motivational work environment.
  • Facilitate seamless bilingual communication within the team and with stakeholders, adhering to Japanese business etiquette.
  • Spearhead talent recruitment and onboarding to align with project requirements.
  • Proactively navigate and resolve project challenges, emphasizing team dynamics and effective communication.
  • Provide regular project updates to internal teams and our community, ensuring transparency and engagement.
  • Stay attuned to industry trends, audience feedback, and strategic positioning within the visual novel market.
  • Ensure the final product embodies Myosuki’s commitment to quality and emotive storytelling.
  • Participate in and potentially lead marketing efforts, representing Myosuki’s creative vision.
Qualifications:
  • Proven project management expertise in the gaming or creative sectors.
  • Japanese fluency with N1 certification or equivalent; versed in Japanese business etiquette.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • A passion for the visual novel genre and a pulse on its market trends and audience expectations.
  • Adept in strategic planning, problem-solving, and adaptability.
  • Receptive to feedback with the agility to adapt and evolve within a dynamic project landscape.
