Ah, the magic of fansubs... digitally delivered. I remember back in the day, when we had to wait for VHS tapes to arrive by mail, from a group that would only let you request three tapes at a time, so it would take forever (and a day) to get an entire series.

Closest I could get to having a Santa Girl was waking up this morning to my Tokimeki Memorial 3 alarm clock with Yukiko in a Christmas outfit. The alarm is Yukiko saying something that sounds vaguely like "Ohayou, gyamosu gambarou ne," though I'm sure I'm spelling it totally wrong and I have no clue what the second word is...

No... I'd hope I'd recognize it if it was gozaimasu. It sounds quite close to gyamosu, although I suppose it could be kyamosu, gamosu, or any of those with an ou instead of an o. (Then again, it could be something wildly different that my Western ears are mangling.) The dictionary doesn't have anything close that I can find. I assume what I'm hearing as gambarou is some form of gambaru -- I haven't learned to conjugate.

If anyone feels like listening and offering an opinion: alarmclock.mp3 (Yes, it is a bit distorted... that's how the clock sounds. ^_^)

Ack! So the "su" I was sticking in there was actually just... static. AND I had the vowel entirely wrong. Funny how when I listen to it now, I hear "kyou" so clearly... AND it makes sense... AND it's a word I know. o_O

Thanks so much, Monele... ^_^
