WIP-Blue Rose (Aoi Bara)

It's the picture Yu_Eriyama made for the logo.
The boy is Atsuhi, the main character of the story.

Yu remade my crappy main menu image! xD and I think it's a lot better!
I'll remake the buttons~

Here's a sketch Yu made for Atsuhi and Aoi character.

Kinda tinkering with the appearance a bit. So I add some button.
I'll think about changing it again I need to practice more in making a good interface!

Genre:
Mystery, Romance, Sci-fi, School life.
*Warning* Have bloody scene.complex story line.twisted
probably will contain BL (my sister insist for this ;_;)
but of course there's normal route, after all it's depend on your choice people! xD

What if the fate of everyone rest in your hands?

Hasegawa Atsuhi is a 16 years old boy. He lost his father in his young age and lived with his mother who always care for him, He lived normally until one day strange things occur in his town... many people disappeared including student at his school, and in the same time he have weird dreams and many strange voice in his head since she saw that girl. A strange girl who always appear in front of him and disappear, strange thing because Atsuhi feel something different in that girl... the girl with deep blue eyes, also there's a new transferred student who decide to help Atsuhi search the missing people and the connection of the incident with Atsuhi. What connection they have with him?
Is he'll be able to search for the truth? Will he able to face the reality?
What if... the truth is hard to take?

Now it's your choice that will affect his life and his way of thinking.
Will you able to find the truth? Will you able to solve the mystery?
Can you find the people who's missing?
It's in your hands.

Character:
Hasegawa Atsuhi
Age: 16
Hobby: nothing particular, but in his free time he like to read
Height: 175 cm

He's the main character in the story, he's a caring person but sometimes he just acting don't care.
Since his father died he always try to be useful a bit for his mother, even she's a bit over-protective.
Don't have close friend at school, because he can't socialize to other well.
Gradually become close to Kyousuke the new student who always with him at school.
He try to solve the mystery on the strange girl who appeared in front of him.

Fujiwara Kyousuke
Age: 16
Height: 178 cm
Hobby: Playing games and reading books, especially history books

A new transferred student from other country. His parent come back to Japan and he decide to follow them
in Japan he meet Atsuhi. Always trying to be close to Atsuhi if he can.
It looks like he know something about the girl and Atsuhi. Always love to insult Atsuhi a bit.
He's looked like an intelligent boy, but he's actually a childish boy.
Decide to investigate about the missing people with Atsuhi.

Aoi Bara
Age: ???
Height: 150-160 cm
Hobby: ???

The strange girl who appear in front of Atsuhi.It seems that this girl know Atsuhi somehow.
Have a captivating blue eyes and blond hair. Rarely speak if doesn't needed.
It looks like she have some connection with the disappearing of the people.

Shiraishi Michiyo
Age: 17
Height: 165 cm
Hobby: nothing

Atsuhi Senior in his school, she got a good family, high score in class and beautiful appearance.
Really popular at her school, but suddenly with unknown reason she's disappeared.
The first victim who disappeared, after her, there's few people who disappear again.
Then she suddenly appear again in front of Atsuhi, but with different attitude, it looks like she have connection with the strange girl who Atsuhi met the other day.

Nakashima Nanaho
Age: 16
Height: 160 cm
Hobby : Searching for hottest news and gathering information

She's a friend of Atsuhi who love to search for news.
She's a bit weird, always carrying many things like notes or tape recorder.
She even have camera and video camera in her bag.
Plus a handphone with camera. it's like she don't want to miss any single hot information around the town.
Atsuhi a bit close to her in school because she's a friendly person, but other friends actually think she's really weird.
She's the source of information and her father is a head officer in the police department in the town, Atsuhi and Kyousuke often ask her for information.

For the story ending I've think of many possibilities.
probably 4-5 ending... now I already write 3 endings

When looking at the main menu I think you should not use capital letters for the start button.
It makes it kind of hard to read. The other buttons are much cleaner.

The little red rose in the second picture is the mouse i guesss? It is a good thing that you changed it! It looks really nice.

Well I make mistake for the start button, I'll change it later when this is really want to finished!
That's just an image so I can Imagine how the main menu works (it's sad when I open to try see the script in renpy it's just plain blank space lol)

Actually the story happen because of the girl, if the girl don't exist, then the story not exist too, and Aoi Bara is Blue Rose in Japanese too.

Ah... I'm so glad I've found Yu who's helping me out for drawings, especially coloring

Yeah, that's the mouse cursor lol
I take two screenshot so you can see that the rose is a mouse cursor , coz' the first pic looked like the rose is the part of the start button xD

Yep, i think the blue color looks a lot better!
It is easier to read and looks clearer fiiting in with the rest of the menu!
You also zoomed in a little didn't you?

Why did you ad a boy behind the menu?
Or did I simply not notice it in the other screens?
I you did it would be my idea to remove it, since the button darkening when you move the mouse over it is enough in my opinion.

I think it looks better, somehow it fits together just right.

I think after I finished typing the story I'll make the various choices and ending, also using that pic somewhere,
or I'll use it for the main menu.(maybe?)
The blue color is Yu_Eriyama idea and she change it, and I like the blue color too

I looked at the example I think you should maybe add a frame arpound the textbox and the other widgets and if you could center the "save" "load" etc in the red bubbles.
But I really like the rose at the end of your text.

It think the textbox is fine, but the frame of the name window is really big, maybe you could make it a little slimmer so it does not get in trouble with the name.

For the menu, I just try to make it more romantic as you said ^^
