Fullscreen upscaling on Android

#1 Post by iichan_lolbot » Sun Feb 13, 2011 3:34 pm

If I run 666x400 game on 800x480 android it use only part of screen in both windowed and fullscreen modes.
Should I just make graphics bigger then on ANY android device? Or there is a way to enable upscaling?

Hm... I thought it should upscale. I'll look into this.

Re: Fullscreen upscaling on Android Xoom

Here are some screenshots of it running on my Xoom tablet. It seems to run pretty well, with the only exception of everything being drawn to the lower left corner, but it's picking up touch input from the upper left. This means you have to place your finger quite a bit above where everything you want to select is. If the image filled the screen it probably wouldn't be an issue. And the last image shows the task selector, where the icons seem a bit bigger then they should be.
