[SOLVED] Outdated lint?
Every time I try to check my script by running lint I get an outdated report from January 4th. >_< No idea why this happens. Any fixes? All I'm getting is old errors/word counts/menu counts...

Re: [BxB] [Horror] Water's Edge
I'm a little curious as to what kind of computer you have since it already had Apple Garamond and is a non-iMac, especially since the font is "hidden" on iMacs (you don't have to tell me if you don't want to though xD) I just reformatted my computer and I can't find it anymore O_o But I f...

Re: [BxB] [Horror] Water's Edge
Oh wow, I didn't know anything about that >_<; It came free with my computer, which isn't a Mac by the way. When I first decided to use it I did a Google but I saw that it was on dafont.com and the Wikipedia page for Garamond didn't really state whether it is for free use or not, so I thought it wou...

Re: [BxB] [Horror] Water's Edge
Thanks everyone for playing the demo and taking time to write valuable feedback! >w< @broken_angel: Yes, you got it right, when Nagisa talks about " that incident" he is referring to the flashback at the beginning. I admit we should have made it a little clearer; we'll definitely be tweaki...

Re: Break Chance Memento [BxB] [Sci-Fi Murder Mystery]
Yes, it's spot-on *A*
Regarding a scene replay menu for important events etc., I'd like having it around and I don't see why anyone would have a problem with it. \o/ (sorry for not being terribly helpful orz)

Re: How do you decide what fonts to use in your VN?
I wouldn't count using Comic Sans as a criminal offence. >>; I'm no designer, but there are many ways to make it (and any other "ugly" font for that matter) look better such as by editing the spacing/width/height of the characters in programs like Photoshop. But I wouldn't recommend using ...

Re: Break Chance Memento [BxB] [Sci-Fi Murder Mystery]
Oh wow, the gradient looks really, really good now O_O Just a suggestion, but since there's a bit of empty space in the bottom-right corner maybe the bubbles could be moved there slightly? The bit of text on top of the biggest bubble is a bit hard to read, also moving the bubbles would kind of help ...

Re: Why use side images?
It would be easy on the artist, but what would the main screen consist of O_O; I can only think of Princess Maker, where they only had the sprite of the Princess and her stats on the main screen and other characters would pop out in windows (I guess you could call them side images?) with their spoke...

Re: Why, IMO, it's hard finding a game to like as a female g
@papillon: Er, I think you're missing the point of my post here, I don't think the main problem is the male/female developer ratio (and I'm not saying this is an excuse, just pointing something out \o/) or whatever but more of "they think their female playership is negligible enough that they t...

Re: Why, IMO, it's hard finding a game to like as a female g
I stopped caring about gender in video games a long time ago on a playground, playing Mario and Pokemon with boys and girls alike. No one cared about genders, it was all about the fun game. It's impossible for me to comprehend why anyone would care about the genders when it's the game play that cou...

Re: Advice for Coming Up With Character Names
Then we open our facebook friend lists and scroll through everyone. When we find a name we like, we vote on it and we go through the lists like this. It's great fun and a huge time sink xD This makes so much sense, I'm going to have to try it out one day xD I think for Japanese names you have to th...

@Ginger: Thanks so much for playing! I'll definitely put them in for the release. Regarding the ba...

Re: How much time/money do you spend on research?
I try not to spend money on research when I have to do it... After all, the Internet is free and the game I'm making is going to be freeware so I won't be able to justify the cost >>; And my time costs nothing (it's the holidays, after all!) so I don't mind wasting an hour or two trying to look some...
