Not necessarily. They BOTH look great, but the second face in the second logo just looks a bit strange to me. Without it I would have an extremely difficult time picking out which one I like more. XD

Hey the interface looks cool, but the logo bugs me a little...I think the waves fit better but you can also make fit the profile
instead...What I think it would look better is to make her gaze front or upwards(it looks kind of akward to see her gazing down and being only a head..)and also you can draw a little bit of her neck...Maybe you can play more with her hair to make it look like waves...Also I think theres no need to give it a more complex cell shading since its a logo

Own project:

This project looks great and the topic is quite interesting, considering the earthquake and tsunami combo in Japan last year. I like Ratana's sprite the most, reminds me somewhat of Deji's work, but the art is generally lovely all round. That CG; so pretty! If you're making an in-game gellery, you should totally include it even if it's not in the final game.

After long deliberation, I actually prefer the first logo with the wave, although the second one seems to match your GUI, which is great, better... So that doesn't really help.
