Anybody know where to get free backgrounds?

This section is for people to post assets that people can use in their games. Everything here should have a creative commons or other open license, or be in the public domain.

Anybody know where to get free backgrounds?

I'm not sure if this is in the right section, but anyway...

I was wondering if there's anywhere to get free backgrounds. It'd be better if there were a bunch in a set, because it looks really weird if there's a combination of different backgrounds.

Anybody know? You can't get any from bass since they're not allowed to be used outside of bass projects... So I wasn't really sure about this. I'd be grateful to anyone who could help.

In a nutshell: Anybody know of a place where I can get free backgrounds that are drawn in the same style?

What type of backgrounds are you looking for? Urban? Rural? Indoors? Outdoors? School setting? Spaceship?

And @SusanTheCat: I'm actually looking for school backgrounds, since sprites have school uniforms and the like.
