Enthusiastic Composer/Producer/Sound Engineer for you!

Hey guys, I'm Kierious, and I'm here to offer my services to you as a musician/mixing engineer/mastering engineer/composer/all around sound designer.

I'm quite new to writing VN music, but I have a willingness to learn and can write in a variety of styles, whether it be Electronic, Ambient, Jazz, Rock, Metal, Acoustic, or any other genre. I am a fast learner, so even if I don't completely understand what you want in a piece of music, you can send me about 1 or 2 references and I'll be able to churn out something decent quickly! I also have a Level 2 in Music Technology, so I can work with a variety of different DAWs and/or recording techniques.

Now, onto my credentials: I have worked extensively with Watercress Studios, and have written the soundtrack for both Lull (https://vndb.org/v18116) and Palinurus (http://watercress-studios.itch.io/palinurus). I have also written most of the music for their upcoming OELVN, Avitus, which focuses mainly around the piano and other emotive instruments, so I'm no stranger to composition.

I also do quite a lot of music outside of VNs as well, although that tends to lean more towards the more EDM side of things, as well as experimental, so I'll only post up two of them for the sake of brevity:

I will be happy to work for free, but for those who have actual budgets and are willing to pay, I will be happy to negotiate a base rate.

Also, the songs I posted are relevant to this kind of work because 1. I feel Equilibrium has a good emotive quality, even if the mixing/mastering might be a little lacking due to the time at which it was released, and my skills as a producer back then, and 2. I felt that a remix of a song from another OELVN (In this case Katawa Shoujo,) would go to show how I go about writing songs. Not to say that I completely rip off other OELVN soundtracks, mind you, but that I keep going at melodies, cutting fat and trying to add to whatever emotive quality that's been set out for me, as you could clearly hear in the song that, after a few reiterations of the main melody, I try to work out my own interpretation of the song and build upon it as time goes on before going back to the original melody.

Are you still around? If you think you can pull off a Medieval Fantasy type track that is mystical and warm (the song is a lullaby) then I'd love to work with you. My project is free, and I can not afford to put a budget onto it. If you're around, and that's okay, then I'd love to see what you can pull off in that genre.
