Do you have any insight as to what Ren'Py designers can pull out of the article for their own games?

For VN and Ren'Py designers, not much... But every little bit additional knowledges never hurts.

Oh it *is* a thorough analysis of how adventure games work, I won't deny it :) I was just asking because it was introduced as potential Ren'Py/VN help :)

Looks like a history lessons for today's children... for somone who is 30 and up ^_~

I'd second that, it does look like a history lesson...one that left out the fun of microwaving hamsters... :(
