Personally, I don't think I'd really like voices in a VN.
I DO enjoy English voice-acting, but I just prefer to read in a visual novel.

I think your best option here is to provide a way to turn off voice, for those who don't like it.

Not sure if this has been discussed before (I actually tried searching), but how many characters do you think a VN should have?
Does it depend on length? The team's ability/skill?
Or do you think that there is just an expected amount of characters that should be in a visual novel?

Yes, yes, yes! These are some beautiful backgrounds, and a unique style, at that. ^^

A game where you cheat and try to juggle the relationship.
Or a game where you're actually trying to slowly break down the relationship to the point of a breakup, and if you don't break it down enough, he publicly proposes to you (therefore you feel scared to reject him publicly, and say yes).

This is REALLY neat. If they release a version translated to English, I might just buy it. (Or honestly, even if they dont, Ill probably still remember the functions, as 2dt has said.
