Re: Art Dumpage! Show your art ^^

I've re-outlined and started to color my earlier piece... ^_^; It's awful coloring, but it's a start, I guess.

Re: Lineart help

@Deji: Oh damn, have I ever told you that YOU'RE MY IDOOOOOOLLLLLLL. <3<3 Thanks for the awesome advice~ I do have SAI, but I'm not too fond of the way all the lines come out kinda pointy-ish (lol, lame describing skills). ^___^; Thanks a bunch for the tutorial, again!

Re: Lineart help

@adrix89: Is Inkscape a free program? I have a tablet, but strangely I find it more efficient to lineart with Photoshop's pen tool sometimes, no matter how blocky it comes out. O_o

@Ren: If you could show me an example I'd be indebted to you for life orz

Re: Lineart help

Thanks for all the advice, guys B) @Ren: Firstly, I'm in loooove with your art. <3 As for my drawing procedures, typically I do sketches in Photoshop and, well, never complete them. X_x Here's a sketch of one Prince of Tennis chibi that's probably going to be made into a badge/bookmark at an animeco...

Lol, n00000b alert!

I'm a sucky lineartist and a very slow colorist, if it's not obvious. This alone took me half an hour. /dies

Re: "Pet" project (Needs lots of help, come sign up!)

Whoo, everyone's characters seem to be shaping up quickly. B) Do we have a due date for this project, or is it free-and-easy?

Lineart help

Lol, sorry for being such a n00b, in advance. I was wondering how one makes clean VN-style lineart in Photoshop (which is, sadly, the only graphics editor I have). It looks too perfect to be hand-drawn, yet when I use the pen tool, it comes out all blocky and ick. T_T Anyone have any specific way of...

Re: "Pet" project (Needs lots of help, come sign up!)

Okay, here's my brief character sketch. The hair's different 'cuz I was debating between which, but I think the one on the right would better suit her rabbity-gentle image? Dunno. ^_^;; I decided to make her a soft-spoken, ladylike kinda girl. Hee. I was thinking that since they don't have any cloth...

Re: (Lame) artist for hire

@Suzumiyaandy: I'd be happy to! ^_^ Can you PM me with details? I'm not sure I'm capable of doing decent backgrounds yet, though... You might need to get someone else.

Re: "Pet" project (Needs lots of help, come sign up!)

Yeah, agreeing with LVUER there -- I think it's best if we come up with a basic drawing and coloring style everyone can emulate with little or no effort (lol, here's hoping I won't fail there) and have everyone use that. It'd kinda provide a way for everyone to infuse a bit of their own style into t...

Re: (Lame) artist for hire

Thanks for all the help, guys (gah, sorry, I'm such a noob ^_^;)! I think I'd better take MaiMai's advice and open another thread there instead to ask for advice... Though I still wouldn't mind taking on a small, easy project. It'd help me gauge what kind of speed, quality etc. I should be working a...

Re: "Pet" project (Needs lots of help, come sign up!)

If no one minds a noob being part of the project, I'd like to sign up for the art and writing of the rabbitgirl path. :3 Something like this, maybe? http://i30.tinypic.com/27zkhi0.png D'you think we could change the main character's personality with every path (instead of the clueless nice-guy, lol)...

Re: (Lame) artist for hire

Ayup, I took both of your advice and speed(?)painted the first sketch... I'm not very good yet, but I think it's acceptable, at least? ^_^; Maybe I shouldn't have made a topic in this thread first... /ded EDIT: fafj;lf i missed out the belt. Will go touch that up, and the hair, too. EDITEDIT: Replac...
