X-Note (next Zeiva Inc project)
I was browsing Zeiva Inc's site, and noticed that there's a new project in the works called "X-NOTE." It's described as a mystery otome game. No release date yet though. Here's the worksafe link: http://zeiva.net/otome/x_note_story.html

It sounds promising, with pretty art and dynamic plot.gekiganwing wrote:I was browsing Zeiva Inc's site, and noticed that there's a new project in the works called "X-NOTE." Nice! I love their stuff. Cute and funny, although this looks dark.

Re: X-Note (next Zeiva Inc project)
Looks like X-Note was released on March 8. It's a commercial game created with Flash. Looks like a reverse harem game, but as Blue Lemma said, this one might be a bleak, serious story. There's a web-only demo and a trailer at http://zeiva.net/otome/x_note_game_demo.html , and the full game costs $15 US through BMT Micro.
I wish I'd heard about its release a few days ago... it wasn't mentioned on Novelnews or the VNDB.

Re: X-Note (next Zeiva Inc project)
I got it once it was released. I got the news via Zeiva's twitter account that I'm following C:
I'm bad at reviewing things, so I'm sorry for this lame attempt >>;
The art was *very* pretty, as expected from Zeiva's stuff, with cool character designs and a great coloring on the characters, though I'm not particularly fond of the coloring of the background's, since it was different than the one of the sprites.
The story was cool, entertaining, sad at times, depressing at some (oh the bad endings! ;o;), adorable and fun, and by the time I finished playing it all I grew very fond of the characters. I enjoyed the fact every route revealed different important things, and it encouraged me to play it all besides the usual 'must collect all endings!'.
The stat-raising part was fun and not too challenging; I appreciate that, I get easily frustrated xD. Also, the replay tips after the bad endings were really REALLY appreciated C:
The only thing I didn't like was the continue method in place of saving slots, since I couldn't stop playing in the middle of a chapter if I wanted to, and when I was hunting a particular ending, there was a non-intuitive puzzle I kept failing at and I had to go back and replay the whole chapter several times until I guessed it right >>;
So, imo, it was fun, it kept me entertained for the evening and it was completely worth my money!

When drawing something, anything, USE REFERENCES!! Use your Google-fu!
Don't trust your memory, and don't blindly trust what others teach you either.
Research, observation, analysis, experimentation and practice are the key! (:

Actually it's not that difficult ^^; There are 1 out of 5 memories that is wrong. It's easy to tell which is wrong since Loil and Anon were talking about it in the bad ending.

It wasn't obvious to me, maybe I'm too dense and didn't notice XD;;;Mirage wrote:Actually it's not that difficult ^^; There are 1 out of 5 memories that is wrong. It's easy to tell which is wrong since Loil and Anon were talking about it in the bad ending.
I even drew a diagram with numbers to get it right "Orz
